What does that means? It means that we are the only outfitters to have received black bear hunting access to this of prime bear hunting lands located in Reserve Mastigouche and Reserve Ste-Maurice in Quebec. With a black bear population estimated at over 1200 in the area that we cover, do we really need to tell how good bear hunting is in there! It is good enough that we are willing to guarantee our hunts.

Hunting pressure is also very limited, fact is that we received all of the 36 bears and 24 allocations available for Spring of 2006, that’s only about 1 bear for each 15,000 acres of hunting grounds or 5% of the total bear population available in the Reserves. No doubt that this hunt is the best spring bear hunt in eastern Canada. It provides our hunters with the privilege to hunt a strong and healthy population of bears, some of which weighting well over 400 pounds.
