ARCHERY ONLY - TROPHY DEER HUNT
|
317. Bowhunting
Monster Whitetail It is no secret that Alberta is home to some of the most impressive whitetail deer ever harvested. Bow hunting whitetails in Alberta is a treat and an experience you won’t get enough of. The archery season is a great time to hunt whitetails as there is little hunting pressure during this time. The early part of the season offers undisturbed deer that are more easily patterned, while the later part of the season sees active bucks marking territories with rubs and scrapes. This is the tell tale sign of a bucks presence and the use of scents and rattling can be used to help get an opportunity at harvesting one of these giants. Rest assured, when you hunt with Northern Monarchs you will be in for the bow hunting adventure of a lifetime. We had a 43% success in 2005 on whitetail hunts and missed opportunities at bucks in the 140" to 160" Pope and Young class. Our hunts are conducted right out of our camp located in Wildwood, AB 70 miles West of Edmonton, AB.
